Earth Day April 22nd

Nothing too out of the ordinary this week, so far.
Grade Two-
The boys and girls got a headstart on their homework this morning. Our spelling words are: such, truck, home, froze, foal, stone, toast, snowball, fifteen and sixteen. The last couple of weeks, we have done very well in spelling. Keep up the good work boys and girls! Please continue with your nightly reading, bring your little blue books on Friday.
We are working on "time", please talk about this with your children. Ask them at different times through the day, what the time is.
Earth Day is this week. Really every day should be Earth Day. You would be so proud of your children if you could see them on the playground voluntarily picking up garbage.

K-2
There will be an assembly this Friday in the Great Hall at 9:00 am. All are welcome.
Have a great week. M. Cronk

Spring???

Hello everyone.I hope you are all managing to keep these "new" germs away.

K-2
~ Your child will most likely have a book to read to you from "Reading club" (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
~ the playground has been very wet so rubber boots really are a necessity

Grade Two
~ regular homework, due Tuesday
~ ten spelling words, listed in your child's agenda
~ nightly reading and recording of titles (VERY IMPORTANT)

* Report Cards
Report cards will be going home early next week, April 7th or 8th.
Parent/Teacher Interviews will be held on Thursday evening, April 10th from 6:30-8:00
and Friday morning (April 11th) from 9:00-12:00.
This year, when you arrive, you will be able to put your name down for your ten minute appointment. The sign-up sheet will be outside your child's classroom. We are hoping to avoid the long wait that many of you have had to endure in the past. This should allow you to visit with other teachers if you like, and not miss your spot.We always look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's progress. Until then, M. Cronk
