March Break approaching!

Whew! February has been a very busy month, what with speeches, Valentine's Day and Day 1oo! I think we are all ready for a break.
Homeroom
~ You may want to come in and check our "Lost and Found" tubs, i
f your child is missing any items of clothing.
~ We have birthday greetings for Isaac Sampson, who has a birthday on February 28th and to Brooke-Lynne Mullen who is celebrating on February 29th, our Leap Year baby.
~ Bookorders went home today but I won't send them in until after the break, probably March 11th or thereabouts.

Grade Two
~ Only spelling words and two sheets of homework this week.
~ Please do keep reading nightly. You are doing a fantastic job grade two. Almost half of our class has read over a hundred books (each of you). Very impressive!
~ Tell your families about the Free Verse poetry we are working on. Write a poem for them, it really is fun. Write about anything!

Have a great March Break! See you all after the Break! M Cronk
