I hope everyone is well rested and ready for the new year. This month we have four birthdays! Chase had his in December, belated greetings to him and "Happy Birthday" to Caleb, Joshua, Harmony and Robert.
We do have homework this week but I will give the boys and girls a chance to start it here at school so they won't be feeling overwhelmed. Please encourage your child to read every night. I know you are probably weary reading this over and over, but it is so beneficial for your child. Here are the spelling words for this Friday: green, yellow, red, brown, pink, blue, purple, white, orange and black. Book orders will be going home and are due the 15th ( or thereabouts).
