Busy, busy!

Yikes! No Blog this week. This past week, although only four days long, seemed to go on for ever. Great job for getting the homework done up quickly boys and girls.
Thursday evening we had a lovely group of pre-schoolers and their parents come to our " Welcome to Kindergarten" meeting. It was very nice to meet everyone.
The spelling words for the week of the 18th are good, have, read, any, did, or, too, Tuesday, woke and spoke. Keep on reading those books and recording those titles boys and girls. You are all becoming better readers and quite INDEPENDENT:)
I think the weather is going to be a bit warmer this next week, let us hope.
Enjoy the weekend and have a good "next" week.

This is a busy week coming up. Wednesday the Mill Rats (basketball) from Saint John will be visiting our school. There are workshops after school at different times. Please see posters around the community and listen to the Talk Mail for specifics.
Wednesday evening parents and children are invited to check out Math and Literacy activities for K-2 in the Great Hall, along with the curriculum documents. Information has been sent home.

Many of the boys and girls have read way beyond thirty books. Good job, keep it up!
This week on Wednesday, we have an assembly at 11:00 am. All are welcome. We will be going room to room for activities on the afternoon of the 31st., Thursday. We will finish up in our room for about 20 or 25 minutes for a little party. The boys and girls may bring costumes if they like, and change into them at noon.
Have a SPOOKY week.
